CNN. Means Café Noir Noirmoutier here on the island. Does not actually look like a TV studio… although quite close in a way: that’s where you can find the highest density of journalists from Paris. This is the place to be, in an island where there is actually almost none. Because those who are really in love with the place don’t come here to show off. They rather park their car somewhere and ride the oldest and most vintage bike to the family beach. But if you really can’t live without it, then that’s the right spot. Drop your spectacular car on the other side of the road. Badly parked preferably. Then sit on the terrasse, pick a cocktail and enjoy the bliss of being seen.
Anyway, that’s also a great place to show your work as an artist. Headquarters of a damn amateur of contemporary art who also has his own gallery nearby. He was kind enough to invite my paintings on the walls throughout the month of September. The canvas really enjoyed it all: the view, the spirit(s) and the jazz gigs.
